Above the blue waters of the Pacific north of Waihe‘e community, a special agricultural subdivision is in the planning process by Betsill Brothers. Waihee Farms will be twelve uniquely sited large lots that will be involved in restoring Hawaiian crops; in particular-taro-to its historic prominence in Waihe’e. Part of the development plan is an approximately 31 acre conservation district that preserves and protects sea shores and settings where traditional Hawaiian customs and uses have occurred for centuries.
