ALLEN T. YAP, CCIM - Senior Vice President/Principal Broker
Born in Oahu, Hawaii, Mr. Yap attended Kailua High School prior to serving in the United States Air Force. Allen has a BS degree from the University of Maryland, previously employed as an electronics engineer and a recipient of the prestigious designation of the "Certified Commercial Investment Member" from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, considered the Ph.D. of the commercial/investment real estate industry.
Allen began his real estate career in 1983 in Hawaii as a sales associate. In 1990, he founded the real estate firm of Allen Yap & Associates, providing services to local, national and international clienteles. In 1999, Allen sold his company and remained as the Senior VP and Broker in Charge of the Maui Branch Office. In 2002, Allen joined Clearly Maui, Inc. as the Senior Vice President and Principal Broker bringing with him an extensive background in residential and commercial/industrial development, sales, leasing, investment, management and consulting services.
Currently, Allen directs the company’s management and the supervision of personnel, including the marketing of projects and general real estate. He is dedicated to providing exceptional service to all his clients and is available for consultation concerning all real estate matters.
Allen serves as an advisor and broker to Betsill Brothers International for real estate acquisitions, investments and project development and has formerly served on the Board of Variance and Codes to the State and County officials.
He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, Hawaii CCIM Chapter, Hawaii Association of Realtors, Commercial Roundtable of Maui and Maui Board of Realtors Association.
BYRON J. YAP, R- Broker
Byron began his real estate career as a realtor for a local real estate company having well over 100 real estate transactions. He was recruited by Betsill Brothers Construction to manage the Sales and Marketing of their construction sales bringing with him a wealth of experience.
As Betsill Brothers Construction expanded our project development, Byron joined our staff and has been consistently successful. His assertive, but amicable nature has kept his satisfied client returning for repeated real estate transactions.
